Who We Are

Everyone and everything has a history, whether it is a personal history, the history of a business, the history of a nation, or even a religious history. Redeeming Grace Church’s history can be described as a rebirth or, as some Bible teachers describe, a replant.  Redeeming Grace Church formerly was Berean Bible Church. From this community, a core group of people was challenged to rediscover and then recommit to being a church that centers everything she does upon the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  From many years of wrestling and prayer, Redeeming Grace Church was born in 2004.

Living in Silicon Valley brings a very different style of living. The work ethic has caused many people to be away from family for longer periods of time. Sunday is typically a day strictly set aside for family and sporting events.

As a missional church, Redeeming Grace made a decision to meet on Saturday evenings because we believe this is the best way to reach our community, while maintaining a consistent and biblical directive to build spiritual maturity into Christians. Furthermore, we want to meet in a church building; not owning our own building limited us to rent from other churches on Sunday afternoons only (a time that is very difficult for non-Christian people to visit). Saturday evening also allows us to be a part of sports teams as well as to see Sunday as an opportunity to be involved in the lives of those who do not know Jesus.

As a way to better reach our culture, Saturday evening presents us with greater opportunities to minister the gospel to both Christians and non-Christians.
