Rick Carbonneau – Lead Pastor, Redwood City site

Rick, originally from Southern California, came to the San Francisco Bay Area to pastor Berean Bible Church in 1998. In rediscovering the gospel’s centrality over all of life and ministry as well as a deeper love for Jesus and His mission in the world, he led the church in a new re-plant for this mission of God’s redemption in the Bay Area. He holds degrees from UCLA and The Master’s Seminary. Rick’s goal is to help plant missional churches as well as to unite like-minded churches for this purpose. He is on the board of directors and teaches at The Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo. Life is full with loving his wife, building relationships in the community through coaching his son’s Little League and competitive baseball teams, financial investing and occasionally golf. He and his wife, LaRayne, built their own home and have four children.

Bryan Ferretti – Lead Pastor, Pacifica site

Bryan Ferretti was born and raised in the S.F. Bay Area and is a graduate of The Master’s College (B.A. Youth Ministries and B.A. Counseling) and Western Seminary (M.A. General Ministries).  His favorite things to do are to watch movies with his wife and kids, play in the backyard with his kids, hangout with people, watch sports, watch Survivor, and read.  He enjoys vacationing with friends and family at his parents’ lake house and riding their jet-skis.  He also enjoys listening to all types of music but especially likes Stryper, Journey, Jars of Clay, Switchfoot, and U2.  Bryan is also a connoisseur of fine foods.  Bryan has been married to his high school sweet heart for twelve years and they have four children.

Cameron Farris – Executive Pastor, Redwood City site

Born and raised in Redwood City, Cameron dreamed of being John Elway’s slower, shorter, reincarnation at quarterback. Apparently, no one needs that, so after becoming a Christian at the age of 20, he has been on another trek. Cameron is studying to become a High School teacher where he currently coaches Junior Varsity Football at his alma mater Sequoia High School in Redwood City. If he isn’t rocking out to Bon Jovi, you may catch him reading or trying to hold back the years at the gym. He married Vivian in 2005 and still wonders why she said “yes,” but is more puzzled by his recent demotion on the totem pole courtesy of their two cats. The only thing missing in his current home of San Carlos is a Peet’s Coffee & Tea.
